I am currently working on a solo exhibition titled ‘My World’ that is about my experiences and influences such as religion, conservative Afrikaans upbringing, apartheid, sexuality, gender, violence, corruption, love and various other positive and negative elements that have helped shape who I am and the way I experience the world. Are we a product of our circumstances? Or can we be more?
