SCULPTOR AND PAINTER
George has crafted objects of beauty all his life. His holistic approach to sculpture today has been influenced by 40 years in careers as diverse as carpentry, yacht construction, building, development agriculture and nature conservation. He has used his practical abilities to master wood and stone carving, metalwork, painting and ceramics, with a preference for materials that are recycled, sourced locally and characteristic of the Eastern Cape.
