Braam Coetsee

I was born in Lichtenburg in the 1950's. The rustic and tranquil existence of living off the land always appealed to me. I would define my style as realistic with abstract in detail. I prefer to use a more textured surface so that a lively effect can be created. My choice of subject matter comes from the heart. My love for landscapes and my fascination with the depiction of light and shadow, is clearly visible in my work.
