Anne Rimbault

I am a potter; my current work expresses my deep concern over the rhino-poaching crisis in South Africa. I aim to raise awareness as well as money for rhino conservation in a sensitive way that highlights the magnificence of the animals and alludes to the threat they face. I make decorated thrown vessels as well as sculptural pieces. I have exhibited in multiple group shows, in both regional and national Ceramics SA exhibitions. I had my first solo show in 2013. I have been teaching ceramic classes in Johannesburg since the late 1970's and more recently have included team-building workshops in my studio?s activities.
