I use, write about and teach many forms of media to capture moments and memories, reality or abstraction. Whatever materials come to hand, from oil paints to plastic waste, reflect the complex, woven fibres of life. For me, it's about embracing a visual language of availability, the call and response to what is present, and from being artisan to becoming artist.
