Painting carries me into mysterious worlds. I use oils but find the excitement and speed of pen and watercolour to be my best companion as I travel and do sporadic journalling. Investigating the 'gold' in the shadows is a term I continue to explore. Art is my life, and results in personal, cultural and social benefits. My work dances between landscape and figure studies, a cha cha cha alongside a slow waltz of soft oil paint. My inspiration is found in daily experiences, expressing the positive and healing power of art.
